When is World Farm Animals Day?
World Farm Animals Day is October 2nd every year.
The Popcorn
Popcorn is a choking hazard for small children.
A substitute would be mini marshmallows.
Can it Be Made Ahead of Time
Yes, it can be made ahead of time. You will want to keep the cereal, popcorn and bugles separate from the gummies and cow tails as long as possible. Those flavors will blend the longer they are together.
How to Store Farm Animal Trail Mix
Store in an airtight bag or container.
Key Ingredients
(Full printable ingredients and instructions are just below.)
Each item in our mix represents a farm animal to make it more fun!
Popcorn is sheep’s wool.
Mini frosted shredded wheat cereal is hay bales. It doesn’t have to be frosted; we just think it tastes better.
Cheerios are oats for the horses.
Honey combs for the bees.
Gummy worms are for the ducks and chickens.
Bugles are goat’s horns.
Cow tails are cow’s tails (of course! 😊)
