Step by step directions How to Cook Acorn Squash in the Slow Cooker. It is super easy and it comes out soft and delicious every time!
Do you want to know the absolute easiest way to cook an acorn squash? Yes? You will be so happy to know How to Cook Acorn Squash in the Slow Cooker (affiliate link).
This method is totally hands off. You do not need to watch it, check on it or bother with it until hours later when it is finished cooking. Just put the acorn squash in the slow cooker (affiliate link) and come back later to it finished and perfectly done.
Acorn squash is a great thing to grow in the garden. It usually produces well and is easy to keep for months by simply storing it in a dry, cool place.
It is also easy to cook and freezes well. I love to have small containers of this all cooked up and ready to thaw and serve as a side dish through the winter. It can be frozen with or without the butter; however you like it.
