Low Carb Zippy Horseradish Meat Sauce is a quick to mix up, low carb, zippy, tangy, creamy dipping sauce for any meat! 5 ingredients and 2 carbs!
My family has always loved condiments, sauces, dips, whatever-you-want to-call-them with our food. Low Carb Zippy Horseradish Meat Sauce is a new one to us and we love it!
My Aunt Liz introduced the idea to me a few weeks ago when she said she made this up at home after visiting a restaurant and had similar flavors there. I used the same ingredients with different measurements and added basil because she said she thought it would be a good addition. Yes, Aunt Liz, you are right! 🙂
She used hers as a spread on her ham sandwich and also added alfalfa sprouts. I haven’t tried that but it sounds like a great idea too! Aunt Liz is full of those! 🙂
I am serving ham for Easter this year and wanted some dips to serve with it because I am not going to cook it with a bunch of sweet stuff. Low Carb Zippy Horseradish Meat Sauce is a perfect part of that meal.

Nutrition:
This recipe makes about 3/4 cup, which is 12 Tablespoons of sauce. It is less than 12 carbs total for the whole recipe so if you get 6 servings of 2 Tablespoons each, a serving would be less than 2 total carbs per serving. This is a rough guess based on exactly the brands I used.
The Ketchup:
Use either sugar free ketchup like Heinz, pictured, or homemade like THIS one. The Heinz is only 1 carb per 1 Tablespoon serving but contains Sucralose; a problem for some.
This easy low carb no cook ketchup contains 2 carbs per 1 Tablespoon serving but has all clean ingredients; chose what is best for you. Don’t be put off with making your own; that recipe is very easy to mix up and it tastes good too.
What to serve with your sauce;
