Oven Roasted Ranch Potato Bites is a simple recipe with just a few ingredients to make a delicious side dish everyone will love! These bites are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!

These Oven Roasted Ranch Potato Bites are easy to pull together! Just peel and cut the potatoes, shake with the oil and ranch then bake!

The combo of ranch and potatoes is one you can’t go wrong with!

The Potatoes

You can use whatever kind of potato you have. Red, white or yellow potatoes would be great here and peel them or not! I peel the whites but you could take a shortcut with the reds or yellows and only partly peel or just wash and cut! That makes them even easier!

Can These Be Frozen

It is not recommended to freeze these. Potatoes change in consistency that is not desirable to most people. That said, it doesn’t spoil them to freeze it. If you don’t mind that, go for it.

How to Store Leftover Oven Roasted Ranch Potato Bites

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Potatoes; I have used red potatoes, peeling some or all of the skin and russet potatoes, peeling all of the skin. Both are great. I am sure that Yukon potatoes would be great too.

Extra virgin olive oil; or oil of your choice

Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix; or 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix

How to Make Oven Roasted Ranch Potato Bites

1- Peel potatoes and cut into bite sized pieces.

Add them to a gallon Ziploc bag.

Add the oil to the bag.

2- Then add the ranch seasoning to the bag.

3- Zip the bag while getting out all the air you possibly can.

4- Toss gently and knead with your fingers to coat the potatoes well.

5- Spread onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

6- Bake in a preheated 400* oven for 40 minutes or until soft. Test by poking with a fork. The size of the pieces will determine how long it takes.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ pounds potatoes
  • 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix

Instructions

Peel potatoes and cut into bite sized pieces.
Add them to a gallon Ziploc bag.
Add the oil to the bag.
Then add the ranch seasoning to the bag.
Zip the bag while getting out all the air you possibly can.
Toss gently and knead with your fingers to coat the potatoes well.
