Best Low Carb Burgers are low carb burgers with bacon, onion and cheese! These are a must try burger! Cook on the grill or in a skillet.
The last time my husband was out of town, my son was invited to his good friend’s house for lunch after church and I was invited to come along too. How nice! Their whole family was there but a space was made for me too. My sweet friend Kristel served her Best Low Carb Burgers and they were delicious! She shared her recipe and was happy to let me share it with you too! I know you will love them as much as we did. Thank you Kristel! 😊
This recipe has been shared in Weekend Potluck. Head on over to these great sites for LOTS of new recipes each week!
Can I make the burgers ahead?
Yes! They can be made up to a day ahead of time. Just keep them covered and in the refrigerator until you are ready to cook them.
How do I store leftovers?
Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for several days or freeze.
Tips for juicy burgers:
Don’t overhandle the meat. Combine the ingredients well but don’t overdo it.
Flip only once while cooking. Whether on the grill or in a skillet, one flip is all you want. It is that overhandling thing again.
Don’t press the juices out of the burgers with the flipper while they are cooking. Releasing juice from the burgers obviously will make them less juicy.
To serve:
Best Low Carb Burgers are delicious served in a lettuce “bun” or on a 90 Second Low Carb Keto Bread as pictured. I made that recipe with the coconut flour (affiliate link) and toasted it. Toasting it makes ALL the difference in just ok bread and really good bread. It made a very nice bun for my burger that was so quick and easy to make up when I was the only one that wasn’t eating a regular bun.
