One of the things that brought us the most fun and entertainment in our homeschooling was watching the birds. Having food out for them is one way to bring them close by to watch them. Here are 10 Easy Birdfeeders Kids Can Make.
Making birdfeeders is a great way to bring birds closer to learn about wildlife and it is also a great thing to do for art class. All of these bring out the creativity in a child and are a fun thing to do.
When to make a Birdfeeder
Birdfeeders can be made any time but fall or winter is the perfect time to make them. Bird’s food sources naturally dwindle as flowers die off and cold weather sets in.
Most birds appreciate food any time though.
Is making a birdfeeder expensive?
No, it doesn’t have to be! The ones in this post are made with nature like pinecones, recycled materials and food ingredients that you likely already have on hand.
