It’s a family-approved recipe that comes together quickly.

It is delicious!
Can This Be Frozen?
Yes! Fudge freezes well.
Just put it in an airtight container; some plastic wrap around it inside for extra protection is great, and put it in the freezer.
I have frozen it for a few weeks ahead and it tastes fresh for the holidays and when we had leftovers, I have frozen it for even a few months after.
How to Store Easy Patriotic Fudge
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Key Ingredients
(Full printable ingredients and instructions are just below.)
White baking chips
Sweetened condensed milk—not evaporated milk, the sweetened condensed kind.
Vanilla (affiliate link)
Salt (affiliate link)
Red, white and blue M&M’s—you can buy red, white and blue ones but if you can’t find them you can totally just pick out some red and blue ones from a regular bag. The whites don’t matter too much since the baking chips are white
Patriotic sprinkles and/or colored sugar—any kind you like. I used a mix of sprinkles and blue and red colored sugars.
How to Make Easy Patriotic Fudge
Line an 8×8 baking pan with aluminum foil.
Melt baking chips in a microwave safe bowl for one minute.
Stir.
If not melted yet, melt another 30 seconds and stir again.
Watch carefully so it does not burn.
When chips are melted and smooth, add milk, vanilla (affiliate link) and salt (affiliate link).
Stir until smooth.
Work quickly because it will thicken.
Add M&M’s and fold into fudge.
Spread fudge into foil lined pan, using back of spatula or large spoon to make smooth and even.
Add sprinkles and/or sugar to top.
Chill in refrigerator 2 hours or until firm.
Lift fudge out of baking pan by edges of foil.
Remove foil and cut into bite sized pieces.
