A Pet Store Scavenger Hunt is a fun way to spend time in the pet store looking for specific pets, toys and supplies. Free checklist included!
Pet stores are always enjoyable places to be but what about having things to look for while you are there!? That is even more fun! This Pet Store Scavenger Hunt is super fun!
Our family always had—and still does have–lots of pets; big ones and little ones. Dogs, cats, lizards, geckos, snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, hamsters, turtles, frogs, and even chickens. We are often in the pet store getting supplies for our critters and love to browse and see what is new each time we go.

All games have rules so here are some for our scavenger hunt:
Now we want to be sure that we are respectful of the business and follow some rules for our hunt. This is meant for families who frequently go into the store as a matter of their errands. This is not meant for a big party or large groups to run through a store. Yikes!
No running. We wouldn’t run in any store anyway of course.
No loud voices. We sure don’t want to scare the pets (or the other customers!). This is a nice, quiet, slow game. 😊
Just find the items with your eyes. Point them out and check them off. Or take a picture if you would like.
This is a good hunt to do cooperatively so it is not race through the store. It is just as fun to work together to cross off your list.
To make the fun last longer, maybe find 5 things each time you go or find the first half one trip and the rest the next time to break it up.
