Here are 11 Winter I Spy printables for loads of fun! There are different levels of difficulty so everyone who wants to can play. All are ready to print and go!
There is a puzzle with bigger pictures and fewer things to count for the younger kids and others with more to count for the older kids (and adults—I won’t tell! 😊!
Some puzzles have all kinds of Winter items and others have lots of different snowflakes, snowmen, ice skates, scarves, boots, mittens, winter hats or cozy slippers!
There is even an I Spy and Color for even more fun!
These puzzles will keep you busy for quite a while!
They are also totally free! No email signup required either. You are welcome to sign up to get an email when we have a new post ready for you, but it is not required to get our printables.
I Spy Printables are an entertaining way for young children to practice visual discrimination, counting and writing their numbers while playing a game at the same time.
When learning about a holiday or theme, it is easy to incorporate fun games like I Spy. You can kind of sneak in some school work without it seeming like it!
Allow your students to complete the I Spy with crayons, markers, colored pencil, gel pens, or any other writing utensil the child enjoys using. That makes it the most fun!
When I was a child, I loved I Spy and search puzzles! I still enjoy them! Now I get to make them! 😊

Ideas to print and preserve your printables:
Printing, writing on them and disposing is the quickest and easiest use of a printable of course, but there are other options if you choose.
Laminate them:
If you would like to print them once and use them year after year, you can laminate them and use dry erase markers to write on them. Then just file them away until next year. This is a great idea if you use them for a classroom year after year or for multiple classes hour after hour.
White Card Stock and Dry Erase Pockets:
A quicker and easier solution to a disposable printable if you don’t wish to laminate is printing on white card stock and slipping them into dry erase pockets. Children enjoy using colored markers and erasing when they are finished. They can do the same one over and over if they wish and even improve their speed. The pockets can be used for different cards and the cards filed away until ready to use again.
There are several versions of colored puzzles. Laminating them is a great way to preserve them and use them over and over. They can even be put away and used for several years. Have the children write on them with dry erase markers and then just wipe off and use again and again!

How to Print some but not all of the pages
There are 11 I Spy pages and you are welcome to all of them. If you don’t want to print them all, this is what you do:
When you hit the print button, you should get a pop-up page with options. It could also make you ask with a “3 dot” deal or a v to see more or even words that say “more options”.
One option will be whether you wish to print all of the pages or just some of them. You can type all or 1 or 1,3 or 3-5 or whatever pages you would like to print.
Another option there is printing front and back if it is more than 1 page. Sometimes that is a great option and other times not. Make sure that is unchecked if you don’t want the pictures on both sides of the paper.
