Kids will just love this neighborhood scavenger hunt! Whether you are taking a walk through your own neighborhood or driving through others, this will keep the kids busy!
If you are doing a driving scavenger hunt, you will probably not want to use the same house for any two on the list but if you need or want to that is okay. If you are walking, you will probably need to use the same house for more than one item unless you are taking a very long walk! Whatever you want to do is fine!

Two Levels of Hunts:
I have made two levels of my neighborhood scavenger hunt so all kids are able to play. It is no fun to not be able to play so we want to avoid that!
Pre-Readers:
Younger kids have a version with 12 pictures (with their words for practice identifying them) to find as they walk or ride in the car.
Young children will be looking for a dog, flower, blue car, bird, bike, ball, tree, house, girl, squirrel, van and gray door. Some objects are harder and some are super easy to get them off to a quick start. They will have fun crossing off or circling a few right away.

Older kids who can read have their version with 20 things to find and check off. Again, some should be easier than others.
