The Rules for the Mall Scavenger Hunt

No running. We wouldn’t run in any public place anyway of course.

No loud voices. We want to be polite to other people. This is a nice, quiet, slow game.

Just find the items with your eyes. Point them out and check them off.

This is a good hunt to do cooperatively so it is not a race through the mall. It is just as fun to work together to cross off your list.

You will probably not want to use the same item for any two on the list but if you need or want to that is okay. It will totally depend on how your hunt is going. It is completely up to you!

This is your game to do however works for your hunt! The ages of the children and the time you want to spend on the hunt will have to do with how you make your rules.

For example; a man wearing a hat, a person wearing a red shirt, someone carrying 3 bags and someone talking on their phone; one person could be doing all 4 of these things! You may not want to check off 4 things so quickly. If it is the beginning and you want to make it longer, make the rule that something together like that can only have one thing checked off. Your hunt—your rules! 😊
