History of Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is a fun holiday for school children and adults in many countries across the world. The history of Valentine’s Day is somewhat a mystery though and not all pretty. It is unclear who the real Valentine was and he was most certainly martyred. This link from the History channel explains it well along with the two videos below.
